Thought I'd take the time and my blog post today to tell you exactly what it is I do.
Primarily, I am a private tutor. I run my own business and provide tuition for children who may need it from 3-16, covering the whole syllabi from EYFS to GCSE and beyond. I try and make lessons fun, as that's what, I believe, helps kids to learn better, especially in a home environment with so many distractions.
My secondary line is reviewing/interviewing/photographing at gigs and festivals. I've been doing it for about a year and write for a website (www.themayfairmallzine.com) and I find that sometime I have more time that others to write up my reviews (which I'll be doing my weekly batch of later).
So, this is what I do

My Favorite Make-up
This is still strange.
Had my hair cut off so now it's short and have really started getting into make-up a lot more. So, I thought it time to list my favourite make-up and why I use it:
Benefit Erase Paste: This is possibly my all-time favourite concealer! I have massive dark circes under my eyes and this manages to cover them and still look natural.
Benefit The Porefessional: This is a pore-smoothing and face sorting thing, leaving skin soft and level to apply make up
Benefit YouRebel Lite: This is a tinted moisturiser, and I adore this as it isnt too heavy and doesn't clog my pores!
Benefit Hoola: This bronzer gives tons of colour to the face, and you can layer it for the tanned look you want.
Benefit BellaBamba: This blusher is perfectly suited to work with the Hoola brozer and provides a healthy glow to cheeks
Benefit Dandelion: This brightening face powder is perfect for the more subtle look and for those with very fair skintones and provides plenty of colour.
Benefit BadGal Mascara: Doesn't clog, goes on quickly and can be built up easily for a more dramatic look
Strangely, after spending so much on the majority, I keep my eye make-up subtle and simple, using 17 eye palettes with three different colours so I can layer and create effects.

A New Thing
Well, this is a new one for me.
Writing a blog, and hopefully I can keep up with it this time.
I'm 29, living in the UK and split my time between my degree, private tuition and reviewing gigs, interviewing bands, and reviewing CDs and whatever else comes my way to be honest.
I like to listen to metal music and go to metal gigs where I can. I currently write for www.themayfairmallzine.com - I do all my reviewing for this site including the local stuff, held by Redeemer (metal DJ night) or The Pandemonium Club (metal gig guys who I happen to get on with quite damn well!). I like to cover local stuff as it shows that the scene isn't dead yet.....but you never know, if you don't support it....it WILL!
My private tuition..... I run my own business and currently am not doing too badly...this is culled from my website which is still under development..

' I'm currently studying for my degree in English Language and
Literature.
Since I was younger, I have always been helping my family (high rate of dyslexia) and as I've got older, I've helped other people, including those with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Through doing this, I've developed the urge to want to help other people/children if they are in need of it.
My ethos is to make learning fun for all ages, so it won't always be the same thing! I also want to make sure tuition is accessible to all, so my rates are lower than others, but this does not mean I skimp on equipment or teaching.
To get more information on age ranges, prices and to arrange an initial assessment, please use the contact information in the 'Contact Me' section. Please be aware that at the moment I teach in the Weald and Hastings areas, but can travel if necessary, and will accept students in my home.'

I would like to get my website up and running, but seem to be having problems with getting the content to save at the moment....so maybe it's time to try again.
This isn't all that will come up.... I'll also be popping some beauty stuff up sometimes - mainly when I get my monthly box of bits! At the mo, I mainly wear Benefit make-up, with the odd cheaper eyeshadow to complement my look. I'll try and add a bit of beauty on a budget, and a few reviews/ads etc for stuff I like, not what I'm told to like.
Also, my hair is blonde and short right now, but that may change in the future.
